Zeekr 9X Doubles Down: Five-Seater Presale July 8 and OTA 7.2 Rewire the Premium EREV Playbook
Zeekr’s July 2026 moves on the 9X land as a coordinated package rather than two separate announcements. The five-seater variant of the flagship SUV opens presale on July 8, while OTA 7.2 has begun rolling out across the compatible fleet with 40 new features and 18 refinements. Read together, they reframe the 9X as a two-body-style premium platform sitting on a technology stack that is genuinely hard to match under the RMB 600,000 ceiling.

A Two-Row 9X for the RMB 400K-Plus Cohort
The current 9X ships only as a six-seater full-size SUV — 5,239 mm long, 2,029 mm wide, with a 3,169 mm wheelbase and second-row zero-gravity seats standard. Retail runs 465,900–599,900 RMB. The five-seater variant keeps the exterior footprint and the Haohan-S architecture untouched but reconfigures the interior around a two-row layout, freeing substantial cargo volume behind row two. Presale pricing is expected to slot slightly below the six-seater’s 465,900 RMB entry — analysts model a 440,000–560,000 RMB band — and the pivot is a direct answer to Li Auto MEGA five-seat variants, NIO ES9, AITO M9 and the Xiaomi YU7 SU cohort in the RMB 500,000-plus premium tier.
1,030 kW EREV, 900V, and a 6C 380 km EV Range
Under the sheet metal, the 9X carries Zeekr’s Haohan Super Hybrid EREV stack. A 2.0T dedicated EREV engine (205 kW peak) is paired with dual e-motors — 290 kW front, 370 kW rear — for a combined 1,030 kW and a 0–100 km/h sprint of 3.1 seconds, unusually quick for a three-row full-size SUV. The 9X is also the first Zeekr product to ship a 70 kWh 6C hybrid battery, delivering 380 km of CLTC pure-EV range and a 20%–80% top-up in nine minutes on Zeekr’s Neo Supercharger network. The 900V hybrid high-voltage architecture is what makes the 6C rate practical rather than theoretical.
OTA 7.2: 40 Features Across Voice, ADAS and Cabin OS
OTA 7.2 delivers three parallel payloads. The Super Eva voice assistant gains multi-turn context, faster wake latency and voice-triggered ADAS actions on the H9 stack. Qianli Haohan G-ASD 4.0 expands urban NCA coverage across more Chinese cities, sharpens unprotected-left handling and rebuilds summon and valet-park routines. Zeekr AI OS 7 lands a redesigned home screen, faster app launches and expanded HUD content, with cross-device hooks aimed at Zeekr’s forthcoming smartphone project. The rollout runs in staged waves through July, new-vehicle deliveries first, then existing fleet by chassis batch. iEVChina’s full Zeekr 9X + OTA 7.2 coverage maps the ADAS tiers (H7 vs H9), the Yikatong charging map fallback and how the 9X reads against Li Auto MEGA and AITO M9 on the RMB 600,000 spec sheet.
