For nearly four decades, Germany’s Mansory has built its reputation on one thing alone: taking the world’s most exclusive European nameplates — Ferrari, Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce, Bentley — and elevating them into bespoke carbon-fiber statements. On July 29, 2026, the firm crossed a line it had never crossed before, placing a 200-unit bulk order for the Zeekr 9X five-seat SUV. It is the first time Mansory has ever selected a Chinese automobile as the base vehicle for its customization program.

A ¥2.7 Million Chinese SUV for Ferrari Collectors
The Mansory-tuned Zeekr 9X will carry an overseas price of ¥2.7 million (roughly €340,000 or $375,000). Despite the sticker price, the vehicle has already drawn 500 global orders, with the majority coming from Mansory’s long-standing collector clients — buyers whose garages traditionally house Italian supercars. Founder Kourosh Mansory personally traveled to Zeekr’s Hangzhou Bay facility to announce the deal, citing the 9X’s original Eastern design language, structural safety, chassis dynamics, and luxury appointments as the four pillars that won him over.
“The 9X is no longer just a Chinese SUV aimed at a regional market,” Mansory said at the event, “but a globally competitive product worthy of a place in the world’s collector garages.” That language has historically been reserved for Porsche and Mercedes-AMG — never for a brand from China.
Record July Deliveries Back the Ambition

The Zeekr 9X five-seat edition launched on July 28 at ¥471,900–585,900, built on Geely’s super-hybrid platform with both PHEV and EV options. It targets full-size luxury rivals including the BMW X7 and Mercedes GLS while undercutting them on price by 40–60%. The announcement landed alongside Zeekr’s best-ever monthly delivery result: 35,837 vehicles in July, up 111% year-on-year, with the 9X and 8X super-hybrid models leading volume.
Mansory plans to develop multiple region-specific themed versions of the 9X — not a single show car, but a serial customization program built around a Chinese base vehicle, an industry first. For Zeekr, the partnership creates a halo effect that makes the standard 9X look like a bargain while opening doors among ultra-high-net-worth buyers in the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
