Zeekr 9X Gets a Five-Seat Variant: 900V Super-Hybrid, 5 LiDARs, and 1,250 km of Range

Zeekr is expanding its 9X lineup with a purpose-built five-seat variant launching on July 28, 2026. Priced from RMB 465,900, the new model re-engineers the rear cabin for maximum five-passenger comfort rather than simply removing the third row. It is a move that signals how China’s premium EV brands are shifting from seat-count competition to space-quality differentiation.

Key Highlights: 900V Architecture and Megawatt-Class Power

The five-seat 9X rides on Zeekr’s Haohao Super-Hybrid platform with a full-stack 900V architecture. The tri-motor setup delivers a combined 1,030 kW, propelling the large SUV from 0–100 km/h in 3.1 seconds. Combined range reaches up to 1,250 km on the CLTC cycle, with 380 km of pure electric driving and 6C fast charging that takes the battery from 20–80% in just 9 minutes.

The cabin features second-row legroom of up to 1.4 meters, with both outboard seats offering identical zero-gravity configurations, a central electric armrest, and a 17-inch 3K OLED display with five-angle electric adjustment. An optional Naim premium audio system (valued at RMB 60,000) is included free during the pre-sale period.

A World-First 5-LiDAR Perception Suite

The 9X five-seat debuts a 5-LiDAR array — one 520-line long-range unit plus four solid-state sensors — supported by 43 perception sensors in total. Two ADAS tiers are offered: the Haohan H7 with a single NVIDIA DRIVE Thor-U (700 TOPS) and the Haohan H9 with dual Thor-U chips (1,400 TOPS). Pre-sale deposits of RMB 5,000 unlock a benefits package worth up to RMB 90,000, including the free Naim audio system and fly-wing sliding screen.
